Job Offer: Laser Manufacturing Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Laser Manufacturing Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in our laser production process. This position involves operating in a cleanroom environment and requires precision in handling and assembling optical components, aligning lasers, and working with fiber optics. You will also be tasked with conducting factory acceptance tests.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently on a daily basis, demonstrating strict adherence to work instructions.

Scope & Accountability

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Producing lasers according to established work instructions, including manual assembly, alignment, and testing.
  • Controlling and cleaning optical components, while managing stock items.
  • Maintaining high cleanliness standards in the ISO6 cleanroom, where each user is vital for sustaining these conditions.
  • Supporting our Quality System through meticulous work practices.

Definition of Success

In the first 60 and 120 days, your success will be defined as follows:

  • 60 Days:
    • Master required skills in cleanroom protocols, laser safety, and handling of laser components.
    • Learn standard operations related to laser production.
    • Perform individual tasks related to laser manufacturing.
  • 120 Days:
    • Achieve independent production of lasers and associated components.
    • Conduct factory acceptance tests independently.

Position Details

  • This is a 100% onsite position.
  • The workplace is located at our headquarters in Stettbach near Zurich, Switzerland.
  • The preferred starting date is as soon as possible.
