About the Role: Product Manager High-Speed Portfolio (m/f/d)
As the Product Manager for our High-Speed Portfolio, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our turbocharger offerings. You will develop a lean, competitive product strategy that aligns customer roadmaps with our internal development initiatives, all while initiating new product activities informed by market insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will oversee design changes and ensure timely implementation that is both cost-effective and efficient. Your Responsibilities
- Portfolio Strategy & Competitiveness:
- Maintain a competitive, lean, and customer-centric product portfolio.
- Continuously assess portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for consolidation, optimization, or expansion.
- Customer Roadmap & Market Alignment:
- Lead internal activities based on customer roadmap discussions, ensuring alignment between market demands and internal development priorities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customer-facing teams, development and engineering, and technical teams to translate customer needs into product actions.
- Product Development Initiation:
- Initiate and define product development activities guided by market trends, competitive analysis, and direct customer input.
- Ensure new initiatives are commercially viable and aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Governance & Ownership:
- Act as the owner of the Product Market Strategy (PMS) for the High-Speed product chapter, ensuring its relevance and completeness.
- Major Design Change Request (DCR) Leadership:
- Lead complex DCR projects with significant impact across multiple products or platforms.
- Manage cross-functional teams to coordinate sourcing, sales, design, engineering, and logistics for successful implementation of major product changes.
Your Background
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Engine, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical fields.
- 5+ years of R&D experience, particularly in system-level development within turbocharged or related domains.
- Strong business acumen with expertise in strategic project portfolio management.
- Project Management experience; certification such as PMP, MSP, or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to foster cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Intellectual curiosity and an innovative mindset with a commitment to accountability for results.
