The Impact You Will Have

As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our analysis capabilities, ensuring an intuitive configuration and user experience. We seek a passionate Product Manager to research, clarify, and prioritize the needs of developers while translating those needs across our product line. Your expertise will extend from high-level features down to the technical aspects of analysis processing.

You will join a collaborative team of dedicated Product Managers and work closely with engaged Engineering teams, ensuring our solutions effectively meet the intended outcomes. Your deep knowledge of development and DevOps workflows will help elevate Sonar and provide an exceptional user experience for millions of developers.

What You Will Do Daily

  • Contribute to and communicate product visions, both internally and externally.
  • Research, clarify, and prioritize opportunities to build and maintain an effective roadmap.
  • Engage with users and customers on product forums to support them, integrate feedback, and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of software development pipelines, analysis processing, and integration points.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to design cross-product features.
  • Align with engineering teams on problem-solving and support them throughout the end-to-end development process.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to maintain a balance between innovation, consolidation, and stability.
  • Attend conferences and deliver talks, should you wish.
  • Help advance the Product Management team's organization, tools, and processes.

The Experience You Will Need

  • Passionate about programming and software development.
  • Experience in software product management, preferably in an agile context.
  • Technical comprehension of architectures related to code scanning and static analysis.
  • Highly autonomous and pragmatic individual.
  • Open-minded with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable navigating change, complexity, and uncertainty.
  • Self-assured in challenging the status quo and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrates leadership by taking initiative and leading subjects from start to finish.
