In this dynamic and engaging role, you will manage a respiratory care device while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. This team serves as the vital link between our customers and various internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, product development, innovation research, regulatory affairs, and service teams.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing user needs and market trends, as well as steering and prioritizing measures to adapt our global product solutions. You will define individual customer and product requirements related to functionalities, value propositions, quality, and market pricing. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze customer satisfaction and the competitive landscape, making strategic, data-driven decisions to ensure ongoing success for your product solutions.
To be successful in this position, you should hold a degree in biomedical engineering, business administration and management, respiratory care, or a closely related field. Relevant professional experience in product management, marketing, or sales of medical devices is essential. Knowledge in mechanical ventilation and/or intensive care as well as familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices (MDR, harmonized standards, etc.), technical documentation, and usability engineering will be advantageous.
You should possess a results-oriented mindset characterized by strategic and entrepreneurial thinking. Essential skills include teamwork, initiative-taking, and a strong motivation to enhance and promote the medical devices under your purview. Embracing challenges and utilizing modern tools to interact with diverse stakeholders is key to your success.
Proficiency in communication, writing, and presentation skills in English is expected, while knowledge of German is a plus. Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and Power-Bi is preferred. Please note that the position may require 20 to 30% travel time on an international scale.
