We are looking for a Product Manager for our Automotive Digital Marketplace. In this role, you will own and evolve a key product area within AutoScout24 and MotoScout24. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire product lifecycle for seller-facing experiences, addressing both private and professional customers throughout the marketplace ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities based on a thorough understanding of our customer's needs and market dynamics.
- Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle by evaluating market trends, product metrics, and international benchmarks to prioritize impactful projects.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across business, technical, and customer stakeholders, integrating diverse perspectives into product decisions.
- Understand customer needs through research and direct interaction, identifying avenues for enhancing usability and satisfaction at all stages of the customer journey.
- Evaluate product success using quantitative and qualitative metrics, including beta testing and post-launch reviews, to ensure solutions meet customer needs and define next steps.
- Maintain product quality by taking ownership of data accuracy, process efficiency, and sustaining high standards in each release.
Qualifications
- Fluent in German or French and English.
- Over 3 years of experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of launching impactful products, ideally in the automotive, e-commerce, or similar digital sectors.
- Ability to cultivate a collaborative environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute.
- Proficiency in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions, familiar with A/B testing and data-driven product management.
- A self-starter who initiates action and drives clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey product decisions and their rationales, with the ability to make independent decisions while supporting team collaboration.
- Aptitude for building strong, collaborative relationships across teams and hierarchies.
- Ownership mentality, eager to take accountability for delivering business and product outcomes while collaborating with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
