Join us as a Product Manager for the Automotive Digital Marketplace, where you will focus on enhancing the professional buyer (dealer) experience. In this role, you will oversee the product lifecycle, delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions that empower professional buyers to source inventory with confidence and efficiency. Your leadership will directly shape their interaction with our products and propel business growth.

About the Role

Our AutoScout24 and MotoScout24 brands are leading Swiss marketplaces for listing and searching motor vehicles, reaching thousands of users daily. You will own the experience for professional dealers sourcing vehicles on our platforms.

Your primary goal is to streamline the sourcing process, making it fast, clear, and low-friction. By championing the jobs-to-be-done for buyers and eliminating obstacles, you will transform insights from research and data into a focused product roadmap. You will also align stakeholders and lead a cross-functional team to deliver successful outcomes for both our customers and the business.

What You Will Be Doing

Your main responsibility is to lead a cross-functional scrum team to deliver products that are viable, valuable, usable, and feasible. Key responsibilities include:

  • Shape the vision, strategy, and KPIs for the product portfolio to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle by leveraging market trends and metrics to prioritize impactful projects.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, integrating diverse perspectives into product development.
  • Understand customer needs through research and direct interaction, identifying opportunities for improvement at all stages of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with your team to envision innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience from initial vehicle discovery to final purchase.
  • Evaluate product success using quantitative and qualitative metrics, ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
  • Maintain product quality by owning data accuracy and process efficiency, while upholding high standards in every release.

Qualifications

What Will You Bring to the Ride?

  • Fluency in German and English (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven record in launching impactful products, ideally in automotive or e-commerce.
  • Expertise in mobile app and/or web platform product development, preferably in a marketplace setting.
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional teams and managing distributed teams.
  • Proficiency in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data for informed product decisions.
  • Ability to communicate product decisions clearly and support team-based decision-making.
  • Ownership mentality with a readiness to be accountable for delivering business and product outcomes.
