About the Role

Our AutoScout24 and MotoScout24 brands are two of the leading Swiss marketplaces for listing and searching motor vehicles, reaching thousands of users daily. In this role, you’ll own the experience for professional dealers sourcing vehicles on our platforms. Your goal is to make sourcing fast, clear, and low-friction by championing buyer jobs-to-be-done and removing obstacles across the journey.

You’ll turn insights from research and data into a focused roadmap, align stakeholders, and lead a cross-functional team to ship iteratively. Success means meaningful outcomes for our customers and the business by helping dealers find the right stock, evaluate with confidence, and complete purchases smoothly.

What You Will Be Doing

Your primary responsibility is to lead a cross-functional scrum team to deliver products that are viable, valuable, usable, and feasible. Key responsibilities include:

  • Shape the vision, strategy, and KPIs for the product portfolio, ensuring product decisions align to improve the overall user experience for our customers.
  • Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle, leveraging market trends, product metrics, and international benchmarks to prioritize impactful projects.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders, including business, technical teams, and customers, integrating diverse perspectives into product development.
  • Understand customer needs through research and direct interaction with buyers and sellers, identifying opportunities to improve usability and satisfaction at all stages of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with your team to envision and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience, from initial vehicle discovery to final purchase decisions.
  • Evaluate product success using both quantitative and qualitative metrics, including beta testing and post-launch reviews.
  • Maintain product quality by ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and adhering to high standards in each release.

Qualifications

What will you bring to the ride?

  • Fluency in German and English (mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related fields
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven record of launching impactful products, ideally in automotive, e-commerce, or similar digital sectors
  • Expertise in mobile app and/or web platform product development, preferably within a marketplace setting
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional teams (UX/UI designers, engineers, marketing teams) and managing distributed teams
  • Proficiency in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions; familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven product management is a plus
  • Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them, while supporting team decision-making
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and hierarchies
  • Ownership mentality: Eager to take accountability for delivering business and product outcomes by collaborating with stakeholders

What Do We Offer?

  • 6 weeks of holidays (with the possibility to buy up to 10 additional days)
  • 40-hour week
  • 18 weeks of maternity leave and 6 weeks of paternity leave, including in cases of adoption
