Process Technology (PT) Principal Engineer – 7045
Our client is a renowned biotherapeutics manufacturer with over a century of experience in treating a variety of diseases worldwide. They are dedicated to supporting patients with coagulation disorders, immunological diseases, enzyme deficiency diseases, and other rare conditions.
We are seeking a highly skilled PT Principal Engineer to make significant contributions to the enhancement of our production facilities in the areas of fractionation, bulk, and fill/finish. This is a 6-month contract position based in Bern, Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities
- Developing technical design requirements and supporting the creation of specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation while adhering to internal, external, local, and global standards.
- Creating Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), System Descriptions (SDs), and System Risk Assessments in collaboration with both internal and external partners.
- Providing technical process engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for CAPEX/OPEX projects, initiatives, task forces, technology transfers, audits, and the assessment of deviations and changes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
- Completed basic technical training and a degree in engineering from a university of applied sciences or similar institution.
- Over 5 years of experience in process engineering, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Extensive skills in handling technical development concepts, tools, and technologies, along with strong problem-solving abilities in design, testing, and deployment.
- A collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to actively engage relevant stakeholders.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
