Client Overview

Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry, with headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. They are undergoing a transformation concerning culture and external perception. The organization focuses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is currently developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology, boasting one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.

Position Available

Process Technician – Supply Management

This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension based in Basel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual labeling and packaging of primary packaged medicines for clinical trials.
• Execution of all assigned activities according to the production plan, following valid GMP, operational, environmental, and safety instructions and guidelines.
• Timely and error-free preparation of batch documentation as part of the production process.
• Participation in the maintenance of production area management (workplace cleaning, order, 5S, etc.).
• Compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules and guidelines (HSE).
• Application of current GMP regulations.
• Conducting process-related controls.
• Accurate documentation of performed activities in both paper and electronic batch documentation, in accordance with GMP regulations.
• Willingness to pursue continuous improvement and analysis of weaknesses, proposing enhancement measures in organization, process, safety, hygiene, etc., at the production site.
• Participation in all function-related training and maintaining required training status.
• Management/participation in continuous improvement projects aligned with strategic goals.
• Collaboration with other units and willingness to work in other areas as needed (e.g., primary packaging at facilities, warehouse, label printing).

Requirements

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
• Experience in GMP and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
• Independent, communicative, and flexible personality, with an accurate and reliable working style even under time pressure.
• Team player with a good team spirit.
• High sense of duty and diligence concerning documentation, order, and cleanliness at the workplace.
• Constructive working style, flexibility, and solution-oriented mindset with responsibility for own work and a deep understanding of quality.
• High self-motivation and quick comprehension to familiarize yourself with new tasks.
• Fine motor skills and enjoyment of precise work.
• Proficiency in standard PC programs (MS Office); knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Good knowledge/experience in the GMP environment and/or hygiene-critical areas.
• Very good language skills in German, both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage.
