Your Tasks

  • Define standardized machining repair processes that meet applicable quality and compliance standards of the OEM, customers, internal processes, and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Your areas of responsibility will cover Peening, Milling, Turning, and Grinding processes, along with supporting processes.
  • Conduct continuous improvement of processes using safety, lean, quality, and engineering tools such as Kaizen Events, SPC, FPY, OEE, and Problem Solving Methods, resulting in improved safety, quality, delivery, and costs for our customers.
  • Provide coaching and training to operations colleagues as needed, ensuring best-in-class manufacturing principles.
  • Support industrialization projects according to plan (SQDCP) and define mitigations when necessary; aid in the industrialization of new repairs and renewal of existing repairs.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Repair Engineering, Tooling Engineering, and/or Shop Engineering to ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery are not impacted for our customers.

Your Profile

  • Experience operating and supporting NC/CNC manufacturing processes such as peening, milling, turning, grinding, and related support operations.
  • Skilled in developing and optimizing programs for 6-axis robotic systems, including ABB and KUKA platforms.
  • Proficient in creating NC/CNC machining programs with and without CAD/CAM software, ensuring precision and production efficiency.
  • Applied manufacturing and aerospace MRO knowledge while maintaining strong safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and contributed to continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing and quality methodologies.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams, showcasing a proactive, flexible, and execution-focused approach to complex tasks.
  • Possess a strong mechanical engineering background (BSc/MSc or equivalent) along with fluent English communication skills; knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
