Job Opportunity: Process/Chemical Engineer
We are currently seeking a Process/Chemical Engineer to join our chemical production team in Visp, Switzerland. At our “C2-Verbund” site, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous production of intermediate and final products in a value chain that supplies the feed and food industries with essential vitamins, fragrances, and flavorings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the manufacturing director, production supervisors, and shift supervisors as a member of the management team.
- Optimize the operation of existing production systems to meet variable production requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement technical changes within the production process.
- Troubleshoot and support production teams across all associated plants within the value chain.
- Prepare necessary plant and process documentation and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide training and promote employee development and personnel matters.
- Coordinate various improvement teams.
- Lead and participate in risk analyses and technical projects.
- Implement the vision and culture of Arxada.
- Facilitate information exchange and communication with internal and external customers.
Key Requirements
- Completed studies in process or chemical engineering.
- Experience in chemical operations.
- Strong understanding of process technology in the context of chemical operations.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (both written and oral).
- Proactive work attitude combined with entrepreneurial thinking.
- Resilient and team-oriented personality.
