Position Overview
We are seeking a Process/Chemical Engineer for our chemical production site in Visp, Switzerland. In our “C2-Verbund” facility, you will be responsible for maintaining the continuous production of intermediate and final products that support the feed and food industries with vitamins, fragrances, and flavorings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the manufacturing director, production supervisors, and shift supervisors as a member of the management team and associate manager.
- Ensure optimal operations of existing production systems according to varying production requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in production processes and plan and implement technical changes.
- Troubleshoot and support production teams across all plants in the value chain.
- Prepare necessary plant and process documentation and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Facilitate the training and development of employees, addressing personnel issues as needed.
- Coordinate improvement teams and lead participation in risk analyses and technical projects.
- Implement Arxada's vision and culture.
- Communicate and exchange information with internal and external customers.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience in chemical operations.
- Strong understanding of process technology within the context of chemical operations.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and oral).
- Proactive work attitude with entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
- Resilient and team-oriented personality.
