Job Opportunity: Process/Chemical Engineer
We are currently seeking a Process/Chemical Engineer to join our team at the chemical production facility in Visp, Switzerland. In our “C2-Verbund” site, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous production of intermediate and final products in a value chain supporting the feed and food industries with vitamins, fragrances, and flavorings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the manufacturing director, production supervisors, and shift supervisors as a member of the management team and associate manager.
- Ensure optimal operation of existing production systems per variable production requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of production processes and oversee planning and implementation of technical changes.
- Provide troubleshooting support to production teams across all plants in the value chain.
- Prepare necessary plant and process documentation and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Train and promote employees while addressing personnel issues.
- Coordinate and lead improvement teams.
- Participate in risk analyses and technical projects.
- Implement Arxada's vision and culture.
- Facilitate information exchange and communication with internal and external customers.
Key Requirements:
- Completed studies in process or chemical engineering.
- Experience in chemical operations.
- Strong understanding of process technology in relation to chemical operations.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, both written and oral.
- Proactive work attitude with entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
- Resilient and team-oriented personality.
Areas of Expertise:

- Microbial Control Solutions (MCS): Addresses threats posed by microorganisms to people and the planet through five unique business lines, including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings, and Material Protection.
