Your Main Responsibilities
Establish, iterate, and consolidate gas turbine operational requirements in cooperation with component design teams.
Facilitate the integration of associated power train systems.
Design new and enhance existing control, automation, and protection concepts.
Establish and maintain engineering guidelines for the GT application as well as the HMI.
Specify the configuration and customization of the GT application based on project and customer requirements.
Support and monitor the implementation by the GT control system supplier.
Prepare, conduct, and evaluate functional verification and acceptance tests in SW-/HW-in-the-loop test environments.
Provide troubleshooting assistance during commissioning and operation.
Your Profile
A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Professional experience in the power generation or process industry.
A strong background in controls and automation.
Knowledge of industrial control system platforms and engineering environments.
Familiarity with dynamic process modeling and simulation, along with related tools.
Experience in gas turbine control and operation is a plus.
Proactive team player with a structured and autonomous working style.
Strong communication skills and a drive to deliver results.
Proficient in English; proficiency in German is an advantage, and knowledge of Italian is an asset.
