Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team to discover and develop novel radioligand therapies in oncology.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in radiochemistry and radionuclide therapies.
  • Develop and validate radiosynthesis protocols for new Ga-68 diagnostic and Lu-177 therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Lead the proposal, evaluation, interpretation, and validation of new radiolabelling procedures with radiometals.
  • Perform quality control of radioligands using HPLC, TLC, and SEC in a radiochemistry lab environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a dynamic team of scientific associates.
  • Present scientific results at project/group meetings, decision boards, and external conferences.
  • Contribute to patent inventorship and scientific publications.
  • Participate in global initiatives shaping the future of drug discovery.

Minimum Requirements

  • A PhD in chemistry or a related life science discipline with specialized knowledge in radiochemistry.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in radiochemistry, including metal labelling of peptides and proteins.
  • A proven track record in initiating or significantly contributing to cutting-edge research.
  • A mindset characterized by curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and a desire for self-development.
  • Interest in disruptive technologies and their applications to drug discovery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong influencing abilities.
