International School Rheintal is currently seeking dedicated and impactful Primary Years Programme (PYP) teachers. Nestled in a beautiful region of Switzerland, our award-winning campus is a testament to our commitment to excellence in education. Your Profile

Candidates should possess a rigorous and inclusive approach to teaching and learning within the primary years. A strong background in language teaching for both English home language and English language learners, along with a commitment to an inquiry-led approach, is essential. You will engage students in learning both inside and outside the classroom.

We are searching for practitioners experienced in, or aligned with, the IB approach. A commitment to ongoing learning and development is imperative at our school. We support individualized professional learning and seek teachers dedicated to a student-initiated, inquiry-led approach, while using direct instruction methods supported by research evidence, such as systematic synthetic phonics.

  • Are a qualified primary years teacher with a minimum of three years teaching experience and at least a bachelor's degree
  • Possess significant experience and expertise in teaching in the primary phase
  • Are willing to go the extra mile to design and deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences
  • Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and inclusive approach to students, colleagues, and the wider community
  • Are internationally-minded and committed to the IB philosophy and approach
  • Show confidence in integrating technology into teaching and learning to enhance student outcomes
