Job Purpose

The primary focus of this role is to analyze the pricing and regulatory impacts on the market. This includes:

• Monitoring day-to-day market changes and understanding their effects on pricing.
• Interpreting regulations, particularly within the EU, and assessing their implications on pricing and market dynamics.
• Guiding sales planning to optimize value.

Responsibilities

• Tracking regulatory changes in EU countries.
• Building and maintaining pricing models tailored for EU markets.
• Developing pricing strategies through effective price structure design.
• Advising sales teams in EU countries on value optimization.
• Collaborating with account managers to provide insights into short-term market movements.
• Participating in customer meetings to gather the latest market information.
• Working closely with internal teams and external customers to deliver accurate and timely pricing insights.
• Cooperating with the market intelligence team to gain an understanding of long-term regulatory changes and their impacts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory and pricing analysis, particularly within the EU market.
• At least 5 years of experience in the renewable fuel industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex regulatory information.
• Ability to track regional supply and demand movements in both fuel and carbon markets.
• Familiarity with market intelligence and commercial strategies.
• Exceptional organizational skills, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills (Dutch/German) are preferred.
