Responsibilities

Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation? If so, this opportunity is perfect for you. In a dynamic and supportive environment, you will:

  • Lead and supervise a group of apprentices, providing mentorship and guidance throughout their training programs.
  • Conduct practical training in accordance with training plans, EASA Part 66, 145, 147 guidelines, and SWISS internal processes.
  • Coordinate assignments in close collaboration with the maintenance department during a two-shift operation from Monday to Friday.
  • Develop and implement high-quality training methods in both artificial training environments and productive operations.
  • Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to apprentices, identifying areas for improvement and additional support.
  • Define, conduct, and evaluate the final apprenticeship examinations.

Requirements

We are seeking a committed and experienced individual for the role of apprentice mentor/instructor. Your profile should include:

  • EASA Part 66 AML Cat. B1 or B1 & B2 with at least one Swiss fleet aircraft type rating
  • Strong social competence and passion for education
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system
  • Several years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Independent and proactive attitude with strong team orientation
  • Very good proficiency in German and English
