About the Company

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with a capacity of up to 500 kilograms. The company provides industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo operations.

Your Mission

Key Responsibilities

  • Engine & Powerplant Maintenance
    • Remove, install, and replace engine components and assemblies following approved procedures.
    • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engine ancillary equipment, including fuel systems, ignition systems, oil systems, and cooling systems.
    • Conduct engine ground runs and operational tests to verify proper function.
    • Maintain and repair engine mounts, cowlings, exhaust systems, and air induction systems.
    • Monitor engine parameters and diagnose mechanical and performance issues, including fuel system maintenance (pumps, filters, lines, and tanks).
  • Electrical Systems
    • Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, batteries, and wiring.
    • Test electrical components and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and multimeters.
    • Assemble and install electrical components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
    • Perform system functional tests and repair or replace defective electrical wiring, connectors, and electronic components.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and aircraft records in compliance with aviation regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance
    • Follow all aviation safety procedures, regulations, and best practices.
    • Conduct pre-flight and post-maintenance inspections.
    • Identify and report safety hazards or airworthiness discrepancies.
    • Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Competencies & Duties

Working independently and responsibly while performing tasks as specified above is crucial. Adherence to ANAVIA’s employment contract, compliance with company safety instructions, adherence to employee safety requirements, and observance of the employer's quality manual, work instructions, and relevant process specifications are essential duties.

Your Profile

Qualifications

  • Education: Technical diploma in aircraft maintenance, electrical systems, or a related mechanical field. Avionics training or certification, as well as engine-specific training certifications, are a plus. EASA Part-66 license is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining aircraft electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components. Proven experience with turbine or piston aircraft engines and familiarity with aircraft electrical troubleshooting and avionics systems is required. Experience in aerospace, aviation, or rotorcraft maintenance environments is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Working knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, power generation, and distribution.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
    • Solid mechanical aptitude with expertise in engine systems and fuel systems.
    • Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment and hand tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Physical: Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and work in awkward positions for extended periods. Manual dexterity for precision work is necessary.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for coordination with team members, engineers, and management are essential. Must possess self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Language: Proficient in English (oral and written), with German as a desirable skill.
