ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 500 kilograms. The company provides industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.
Your Mission
Key Responsibilities
- Engine & Powerplant Maintenance:
- Remove, install, and replace engine components and assemblies following approved procedures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engine ancillary equipment, including fuel systems, ignition systems, oil systems, and cooling systems.
- Conduct engine ground runs and operational tests to verify proper function.
- Maintain and repair engine mounts, cowlings, exhaust systems, and air induction systems.
- Monitor engine parameters and diagnose mechanical and performance issues.
- Handle fuel system maintenance, including pumps, filters, lines, and tanks.
- Electrical Systems:
- Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, batteries, and wiring.
- Test electrical components and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and multimeters.
- Assemble and install electrical components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Perform system functional tests and repair or replace defective electrical wiring, connectors, and electronic components.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and aircraft records in compliance with aviation regulations.
- Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
- Safety & Quality Assurance:
- Follow all aviation safety procedures, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-maintenance inspections.
- Identify and report safety hazards or airworthiness discrepancies.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Competencies & Duties
Working independently and responsibly while ensuring compliance with ANAVIA’s employment contract, safety instructions, quality manuals, work instructions, and corresponding process specifications.
Your Profile
Qualifications
- Education: Technical diploma in aircraft maintenance, electrical systems, or a related mechanical field. Avionics training or certification, as well as engine-specific training certifications, are a plus. EASA Part-66 license is advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining aircraft electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components, with proven experience working on turbine or piston aircraft engines. Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting and avionics systems in helicopter environments is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficient working knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, power generation, and distribution. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in engine and fuel systems, including proficient use of electrical test equipment and hand tools.
- Safety and Regulatory: A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a detailed and systematic approach to troubleshooting and handling fuel system safety procedures.
- Physical: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in awkward positions for extended periods, along with manual dexterity for precision work.
- Communication: Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and management, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Language: Good proficiency in English (oral and written); German is desirable.
