Summary

The Quality Control (QC) Biocenter of Excellence laboratory is seeking a recent BSc/MSc/PhD graduate to gain invaluable insights into the Quality Control Laboratory and general GxP practices. Our team oversees the release, stability, and validation testing of approximately 18 distinct biotech products, employing a diverse range of analytical techniques such as chromatography, electrophoresis, ELISA, and compendial methods, all delivered under full GxP regulation.

About the Role

Duration: until the end of 2026

Preferred start date: November 1, 2025

Location: Stein, Aargau

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Perform QC-related investigations like OOS, OOE, OOT, or Deviations, including report writing.
  • Prepare deviation reports linked to equipment failures or malfunctions.
  • Define Corrective Actions or Preventive Actions as part of the investigations.
  • Guide analysts during routine analysis and assist in identifying solutions during problem detection.
  • Support the senior QC specialist during health authority inspections.
  • Contribute to KPI tracking and trending.
  • Generate and review standard operating procedures.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or pharmacy (completed within the last 12 months).
  • Laboratory experience.
  • A resilient and collaborative team player.
  • Sound technical and scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical/chemical analytics/QC or equivalent.
  • Languages: Business-level proficiency in German and English.
