The Halin Lab at ETH Zürich focuses on the intersection of immunology and lymphatic vascular biology, utilizing advanced microscopy and transcriptomic methods to explore lymphatic morphology and leukocyte migration. We are excited to announce the recruitment of a postdoctoral researcher to study the structure and function of human pulmonary lymphatic networks in both health and chronic lung disease.
This project, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) in collaboration with the University of Bern, integrates cutting-edge 3D microscopy, organ-on-chip technology, and mechanobiological perspectives to investigate lymphatic remodeling and immune cell dynamics in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a robust background in vascular or lymphatic biology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for interdisciplinary science and a strong commitment to collaborative research.
The position offers a stimulating, supportive, and international research environment within the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at ETH Zürich. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and technologies, including advanced imaging and molecular platforms, and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clinician scientists at the University of Bern.
