The Membrane and Interfacial Science Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) at ETH Zürich designs materials and processes that enable more energy-efficient and sustainable separations. We work on membrane technologies that can lead to disruptive improvements in carbon capture, gas separations, and water purification. Researchers in our group typically conduct work related to membrane synthesis, experimental characterization, and transport modeling.
The postdoctoral researcher will lead and develop research activities on next-generation membrane processes. Responsibilities may include:
The postdoc will work closely with Prof. Anthony Straub to carry out these responsibilities. Opportunities exist to interface with industrial collaborators and national research initiatives, such as NCCR Separations.
