The Membrane and Interfacial Science Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) at ETH Zürich is dedicated to designing materials and processes that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in separations. Our research focuses on membrane technologies that can lead to transformative improvements in carbon capture, gas separations, and water purification. Our team engages in membrane synthesis, experimental characterization, and transport modeling.
