Your Responsibilities

The postdoctoral researcher will focus on their own investigations within the realm of digital democracy, specifically concerning the digital transformation of politics. Additionally, the research group's second major interest lies in computational social science, forming part of the Digital Society Initiative, the university's center of expertise in digitalization.

This position also includes:

• Contributing to teaching in digital democracy, political behavior, political communication, or applied methods (averaging 1.5 classes per semester)
• Advising undergraduate and master's students
• Undertaking certain administrative tasks
• Collaborating on ongoing research projects within the research group and the department

Your Profile

• PhD in political science, computational social science, or a closely related discipline
• Strong interest in political behavior, political communication, and research on digital democracy, specifically the impact of digitalization on politics
• Expertise in quantitative methods and computational social science, with a desire to further enhance methodological skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficient command of the English language
• Demonstrated creativity, open-mindedness, and curiosity
