The Membrane and Interfacial Science Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) at ETH Zürich is dedicated to designing materials and processes that promote energy-efficient and sustainable separations. Our focus lies on innovative membrane technologies that seek to revolutionize carbon capture, gas separations, and water purification. Researchers in our group engage in various aspects related to membrane synthesis, experimental characterization, and transport modeling.
The postdoctoral researcher will lead and develop research activities centered on next-generation membrane processes. Responsibilities may include:
The postdoc will collaborate closely with Prof. Anthony Straub to fulfill these responsibilities. Opportunities will be available to engage with industrial collaborators and national research initiatives, such as NCCR Separations.
