Your Responsibilities

The postdoctoral researcher will focus on their own research in the realm of digital democracy, specifically regarding the digital transformation of politics. The research group also prioritizes computational social science and is a part of the Digital Society Initiative, the university's center of expertise in digitalization.

This position includes:

• Contributing to teaching in the fields of digital democracy, political behavior, political communication, or applied methods (averaging 1.5 classes per semester).
• Advising Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
• Engaging in administrative tasks.
• Collaborating on active research projects within the group and the department.

Your Profile

• PhD in political science, computational social science, or a closely related discipline.
• Interest in political behavior, political communication, and research on the implications of digitalization for politics.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative methods or computational social science, with a desire to further enhance methodological skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient command of English.
• Creativity, open-mindedness, and a sense of curiosity.
