The Membrane and Interfacial Science Lab, part of the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) at ETH Zürich, is at the forefront of designing materials and processes aimed at more energy-efficient and sustainable separation methods. Our research focuses on membrane technologies that could significantly enhance carbon capture, gas separations, and water purification. Our team works comprehensively on membrane synthesis, experimental characterization, and transport modeling.
The postdoctoral researcher will lead and develop research initiatives on next-generation membrane processes. Key responsibilities may include:
The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate closely with Prof. Anthony Straub to fulfill these responsibilities, with opportunities to engage with industrial partners and national research initiatives such as NCCR Separations.
