The Professorship of International Relations and Data Science is currently seeking a postdoctoral researcher for a two-year position (100%). The position is based at ETH Zurich and is supervised by Prof. Livia Schubiger.
The candidate will collaborate with the IRDS group on projects that utilize natural language processing (NLP), causal inference, and machine learning to investigate norms related to gender-based and other forms of violence, as well as strategies to mitigate such violence.
The selected candidate will work closely within Professor Livia Schubiger's group at ETH Zurich. Responsibilities will include conducting research on group projects while also pursuing an individual research agenda.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with a team of international scientists. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic qualifications along with strong coding and writing skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment. The start date is negotiable, and the position is located in Zurich, Switzerland.
