Your Responsibilities
As part of our team, you can expect to:
Research with Impact: Develop your priorities in the field of digital education, embedded in ongoing projects or with a view to new funding lines (e.g., SNSF, DIZH, Horizon Europe, foundations, etc.).
Co-construction Instead of Convention: Actively shape your academic profile with your own ideas, research-based design, and a passion for experimentation.
Teaching with Depth: Contribute your expertise in teaching through research-based seminars or the supervision of dissertations and other theses.
Leadership on a Small Scale: Provide specialist advice and support to doctoral candidates and students in a goal-oriented manner, according to project responsibilities.
Transfer with Substance: Share your ideas with the public and engage in dialogue with schools, universities, or EdTech start-ups.
Your Profile
A doctorate in educational science, psychology, computer science, instructional design, or related fields.
Independent scientific work with a desire for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Sound expertise in quantitative methods, ideally with an emphasis on experimental research.
A passion for implementing research-based teaching concepts.
A strong interest in leveraging your postdoc phase to advance your research career.
The courage to innovate, balanced with a pragmatic approach.
Initial experience in acquiring third-party funding and/or implementing larger projects is a bonus.
Confident communication skills in English, as it is our common working and publication language. Knowledge of German is a plus, but not a requirement.
