Your Responsibilities
As part of our team, you can expect the following:
Research with Impact: Develop your priorities in the field of digital education, embedded in ongoing projects or with a view towards new funding opportunities.
Co-Construction Instead of Convention: Actively shape your academic profile with your own innovative ideas, research-based designs, and a passion for experimentation.
Teaching with Depth: Contribute your expertise through research-based seminars and the supervision of dissertations and other theses.
Leadership on a Small Scale: Provide specialist advice and support to doctoral candidates and students in a goal-oriented manner, depending on project responsibilities.
Transfer with Substance: Bring your ideas to the public through dialogue with schools, universities, or EdTech start-ups.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
A doctorate in the field of educational science, psychology, computer science, instructional design, or related areas.
Experience in independent scientific work with a desire for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Sound expertise in quantitative methods, ideally with a focus on experimental research.
A genuine interest in implementing research-based teaching concepts.
A strong commitment to leveraging your postdoc phase to establish yourself as a prominent researcher.
Courage to innovate, complemented by a healthy dose of pragmatism.
Ideally, some initial experience in acquiring third-party funding and/or implementing larger projects.
Confident communication in English, our common working and publication language. Knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory.
