Your Tasks
- Conduct research in the theory of angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES).
- Implement and enhance new methods in open-source scientific software within the research group.
- Perform first-principles simulations of ARPES for materials relevant to orbitronics.
- Identify fingerprints of orbital angular momentum.
- Discover promising materials for orbitronics applications.
- Collaborate effectively with experimental groups.
- Support research and teaching activities as needed.
Your Profile
- A PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- A strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics or related disciplines.
- Basic knowledge of photoemission spectroscopy or analogous techniques.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of first-principles simulations of materials based on Density Functional Theory (DFT).
- Proficient programming skills in Fortran and Python.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with both theoretical and experimental partners.
