Postdoctoral Fellow / Postdoctoral Fellowess in Kagome Lattice and van der Waals based Quantum Materials

Your Tasks

• Conduct in-house and large-scale facility experiments
• Analyse scientific data and publish in peer-reviewed, high-impact scientific journals
• Support and maintain laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with other scientists on overlapping projects
• Maintain thorough records of work in lab notebooks and electronic files

Your Profile

• PhD degree in physics with a solid understanding of condensed matter physics, quantum mechanics, and magnetism
• Expertise in X-ray-based magnetic imaging or scanning probe microscopy for magnetism
• Experience in research on correlated materials and magnetism
• Proficient software skills for data analysis
• Interest in a wide range of physics and experimental techniques
• Able to adapt to new challenges
• Independent researcher who is also a strong team player
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
