ARTORG, the University of Bern's transdisciplinary Center of Excellence, focuses on medical technology research. We address unmet clinical needs in diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, and rehabilitation through cutting-edge healthcare technology. Positioned uniquely as an engineering department within the medical faculty, ARTORG has spent over a decade advancing biomedical engineering research, education, and development across diverse clinical domains. Our master’s and PhD students thrive in a clinical environment, directly translating their academic experiences into healthcare solutions.
The Artificial Intelligence in Health and Nutrition (AIHN) laboratory at the ARTORG Center is seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team. We welcome candidates with a robust background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science, particularly in at least two of the following areas: causal machine learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI, including multimodal foundation models.
