Postdoctoral Fellow / Postdoctoral Fellowess

Your Tasks

• Model and study the evolution of CCs in various settings such as linear accelerators and storage rings.
• Develop a theoretical understanding of the impact of relativistic velocities, phase space densities, and the quantum limit.
• Analyze simulation results and experimental data.
• Contribute to the development of numerical techniques for controlling CC.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers.

Your Profile

• PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong computational skills and experience with particle-in-cell simulations are highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of plasma and quantum physics, including correlated systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
