Your Tasks
- Define and execute an ambitious independent research programme on quantum materials.
- Leverage the complementarity of state-of-the-art techniques in neutron and photon science, prioritizing the large-scale facilities at PSI and in the UK.
- Conduct additional support measurements, such as bulk magnetic or electric characterization.
- Perform data curation, advanced data analysis, and modeling to enhance research and interpret data effectively.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at conferences and workshops.
Your Profile
- PhD degree in experimental physics, chemistry, material sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in neutron and/or photon science research, including data analysis, curation, and publication preparation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends while conducting experiments at large-scale facilities.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and a passion for working in a team-oriented, interdisciplinary environment.
