Continuing steadily on our sustainable innovation path and growth journey, we are looking for talented PLC PROGRAMMER / AUTOMATION ENGINEER for our biotech business.

Your Role

At our headquarters in Urdorf (Zurich), Switzerland, our engineers innovate next-generation technologies that change how biopharma digitizes and automates bioprocess development. Our vision is to maintain this leading position and stand out significantly from all other bioprocess software applications and automated sampling systems. Your Tasks

• Define technical requirements for automation solutions for customer projects and internal applications.
• Take responsibility for creating the PLC programs with visualization (Siemens S7 / WinCC).
• Perform risk analyses, create test plans, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Perform parameterization and commissioning of electrical components (e.g., PLC controllers, frequency converters, measuring transmitters, PID controllers) in-house and on-site at the customer, including training (approx. 10% travel activity).
• Troubleshoot and provide support services.

Your Profile

• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Switzerland. Please indicate your current work authorization status.
• Very good command of German and English (spoken and written).
• Solid background in control engineering and PLC programming, demonstrated by relevant project experience. A qualification in automation technology at FH or HF level is an advantage.
• Proficiency in PLC programming using SCL (STEP 7) and WinCC (Classic and TIA Portal). Knowledge of AWL and GRAPH 7 is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style.
• Experience in bioprocess automation and project management is an advantage.
