Job Description

As the Platform Engineer Leader (M3 Food), you will oversee all integrations and extractions within our M3 cloud landscape. This is a collaborative effort, requiring you to guide both in-house and external experts towards a simple yet robust integration architecture that adheres to standards without sacrificing the high degree of automation and specialization within our global value chain.

In a dual role, you will also shape the overall integration strategy concerning our strategic platforms (e.g., IFood, Icollect, Item Hub, Readsoft, Transporeon, TrueCommerce, Trax). You will define the role of a Data Service Layer, identify synergies within our Enterprise Integration framework, and embrace the unique characteristics of each platform.

The Platform Engineer Leader for M3 will serve as a technical advisor for internal customers, product teams, and external stakeholders. You will be accountable for the design, implementation, operations, and monitoring of all integrations, taking full ownership of our M3 Integration Layer.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the design, implementation, operations, and monitoring of all integrations within the Data Service Layer, including M3 Application Interface Framework, Cloud Integration, and API Management.
  • Developing and coaching integration team members, both onsite and offshore, to secure the necessary capacity and competence for high availability and reliability of all integrations.
  • Establishing the M3 Integration Strategy & Roadmap, continuously enhancing synergies between various components while anchoring the direction for future developments.
  • Guiding and assisting in defining integration patterns aligned with our principles, partnering with service providers and IT functions.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and identifying trends for system performance and resource utilization with a cost-conscious mindset.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Teams and Software Engineers to address complex problems.
  • Managing integrations-related projects.
