Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d) to join our global SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. This role involves contributing to pre-project activities and operational process development specifically within the Planning & Fulfillment domain.
In this exciting role, you will establish the foundation for our future planning processes, focusing on planning-relevant master data, capacity planning, and the continuous improvement of operational Planning & Fulfillment processes. You will provide structured analyses, clear documentation, and well-prepared inputs for the SAP S/4HANA program, supporting process owners and project leads.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA pre-projects: Actively participate in preparatory activities like process analysis, requirement clarification, data assessments, and concept preparation in relation to Planning & Fulfillment.
- Work on planning-relevant master data: Analyze, improve, and govern master data used for planning and capacity management (e.g., materials, BOMs, routings, capacities) in collaboration with business and system stakeholders.
- Drive the development of P&F processes: Collaborate with process owners to document, analyze, and enhance operational planning and fulfillment processes.
- Contribute to capacity planning topics: Support analyses and concept work related to capacity planning, planning horizons, and bottleneck transparency.
- Ensure transparency and documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, guidelines, training materials, and SharePoint content to facilitate standardization, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
- Act as a cross-functional interface: Work closely with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and IT, ensuring alignment between divisional business requirements and system-related solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or process improvement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Solid hands-on experience with SAP-based processes (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA required), ideally in planning-related contexts.
- Good understanding of planning processes and the critical role of master data for operational and tactical steering.
- Initial hands-on experience in project work or sub-projects (e.g., process harmonization, system rollouts, transformation initiatives).
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, taking shared responsibility for results and deliverables.
- Highly structured and analytical working style, with the capability to break down complex topics into clear and actionable work packages.
- Strong focus on process quality, collaboration, and end-to-end thinking across functions.
- Fluency in English and German.
