Job Opportunity: Planning & Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist to contribute to our global SAP S/4HANA transformation project. This role focuses on pre-project activities and the development of operational processes within the Planning & Fulfillment domain.

You will help shape the future of our planning processes, emphasizing planning-relevant master data, capacity planning, and the continuous enhancement of operational P&F processes. Your structured analyses and clear documentation will support process owners and project leads, providing essential inputs for the SAP S/4HANA program.

This position is ideal for a professional with practical experience in planning or supply chain operations who is eager to further their expertise in a dynamic global transformation environment. You will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, and report to the Head of Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA pre-projects by actively participating in preparatory activities such as process analysis, requirement clarification, data assessments, and concept preparation related to Planning & Fulfillment.
• Analyze and improve planning-relevant master data, while collaborating with business and system stakeholders to ensure proper governance of data used in capacity management.
• Develop and document operational planning and fulfillment processes in collaboration with process owners.
• Support capacity planning initiatives, including analyses concerning planning horizons and bottleneck transparency.
• Create and maintain process documentation, guidelines, and training materials to enable standardization and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and IT to ensure alignment between business requirements and system solutions.

Your Background

• A degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or process improvement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Solid hands-on experience with SAP-based processes (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA required), preferably in planning-related contexts.
• Good understanding of planning processes and the critical role of master data as an enabler for operational and tactical steering.
• Experience in project work or sub-projects such as process harmonization or transformation initiatives.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within cross-functional teams while sharing responsibility for results and deliverables.
• A highly structured and analytical working style, capable of breaking down complex issues into actionable steps.
• A strong sense of process quality, collaboration, and end-to-end thinking across functions.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
