As a Pipe Stress Engineer, you will blend technical expertise with strategic planning and teamwork. Your Tasks
Conduct independent pipe stress analyses on customer-delivered piping designs, application parameters, and requested load cases to ensure the longevity of GF products and systems. Continuously implement new scientific insights regarding material characteristics and physical effects.
Analyze and support customer applications, acting as an expert on GF systems and products.
Provide comprehensive engineering and calculation services for GF Piping Systems products and systems to confirm correct installations, considering all relevant parameters.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding customer requirements, utilizing the necessary resources to ensure delivery aligns with customer expectations in terms of timeframe and quality.
Support sales teams, business developers, and product managers in their efforts to generate business for GF Piping Systems.
Conduct calculations of special installations, such as double containment systems, to ensure compliance with relevant national standards and building codes (e.g., DVS, ASME, EN).
Assist in developing installation recommendations and provide best practice training.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree with approximately six years of relevant work experience, including at least three years in a similar role.
Proficient in software tools such as ROHR2, SINETZ, CEASAR, IngSoft, easypipe, and various BIM & PDMS applications.
A reliable, curious, and quality-driven personality.
Established presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
A strong team orientation is essential.
Proficiency in both German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
