Position: Senior Photolithography Engineer
In this pivotal role, you will develop and optimize photolithography processes used in semiconductor manufacturing. Your expertise will be crucial as you work with advanced lithography equipment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and uphold high-quality production standards.
Your Background
- PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Material Science, or a related field
- Several years of experience in semiconductors, ideally in photolithography
- Strong analytical skills with effective communication abilities, capable of interacting with various teams to address root causes
- Excellent team player with a proactive approach
- Proficiency in English is required; German is a strong plus
- Readiness for on-call duties on weekends and public holidays as required by production;
- Participation in on-call meetings agreed upon with other on-call service providers
How You Will Make an Impact
- Process Optimization: Ensure processes meet production program and yield goals, addressing any product yield and rework issues.
- Vendor Collaboration: Engage with equipment and material vendors to develop new solutions and improve existing processes.
- Innovation: Develop new techniques, modify existing designs, and coordinate process improvement projects.
- Data Analysis: Analyze process data to identify trends, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues (implement and regularly check SPC).
- Documentation: Document and communicate project plans, status, and results through written reports and presentations.
- Machinery Implementation: Independently plan and implement new machinery into the production line.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with process integration, wet etch, diffusion, metals, dry etch, and implant teams to ensure seamless production.
- Metrology Support: Support metrology tools, such as measuring CD and overlay.
