Your Tasks

  • Development of a detector concept based on pixelized Si detectors for the search of the muon electric dipole moment (muEDM) at PSI.
  • Participation in data collection and analysis of muEDM measurements.
  • Preparation of presentations and manuscripts for conferences and publications.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in physics with a strong interest in low-energy particle physics.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods, such as Monte Carlo simulations or proficiency in Python for data analysis.
  • Practical experience in experimental techniques is appreciated (e.g., electronics, detectors, DAQ).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient level of English in both spoken and written forms is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of German or a willingness to learn German quickly is a plus.
