Your Tasks

  • Develop a detector concept based on pixelized Si detectors for the search of the muon electric dipole moment (muEDM) at PSI.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis of muEDM measurements.
  • Prepare presentations and manuscripts for conferences and publications.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in physics with a strong interest in low energy particle physics.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods, including Monte Carlo simulations or Python for data analysis.
  • Practical experience in experimental techniques is a plus (e.g., electronics, detectors, DAQ).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient level of English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of German or a willingness to quickly learn the language is an advantage.
