Your Tasks

  • Develop a detector concept based on pixelized silicon detectors for the search of the muon electric dipole moment (muEDM) at PSI.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis of muEDM measurements.
  • Prepare talks and manuscripts for conferences and publications.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in physics with a strong interest in low energy particle physics.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods, such as Monte Carlo simulations or Python for data analysis.
  • Practical experience in experimental techniques is appreciated (e.g., electronics, detectors, DAQ).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient level of English is mandatory, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of German or willingness to learn quickly is a plus.
