PhD Research Assistant (80-100%)
Your Profile
- You have recently obtained a Master’s degree in information systems or related disciplines.
- You possess a keen interest in areas such as digital health, patient empowerment, human-computer interaction, nudging, and gamification.

- You have a strong command of written and spoken English.
- You are eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes members from universities, colleges, and teaching hospitals.
Your Future Role
As part of a "Health and Well-being" research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), you will work towards achieving a PhD thesis in the field of information systems. This project will be co-supervised by Alessio De Santo, Professor of Information Systems at HEG Arc, and Adrian Holzer, Professor of Information Systems at the University of Neuchâtel.
Your Main Activities
- Design, develop, and evaluate new interaction approaches involving digital support for parents of premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG).
- Contribute to writing research protocols for clinical testing and assist in supervising a randomized controlled trial (RCT).
- Analyze data to identify factors influencing long-term engagement, exploring psychological and behavioral mechanisms.
- Write scientific articles and prepare reports.
- Participate in teaching activities at the Bachelor's level, conducted in French.
