The Membrane and Interfacial Science Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) at ETH Zürich is at the forefront of designing materials and processes that promote energy-efficient and sustainable separations. Our focus on membrane technologies aims to bring about transformative advancements in areas such as carbon capture, gas separations, and water purification. Researchers in our lab engage in areas including membrane synthesis, experimental characterization, and transport modeling.
