Perfume Retail Manager
Location: Switzerland – All Swiss German Region
To strengthen our national Sales Perfume team in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a Perfume Retail Manager. Reporting to the Switzerland Wholesale & Retail Manager for Perfume, you will be responsible for developing Bulgari Perfumes activities within Swiss markets sustainably. Your role will encompass managing all retail and operational aspects related to sales within the Swiss German perimeter.
Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Bulgari Perfume at the point of sales. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the brand relaunch within your perimeter.
- Challenging the status quo to ensure all operations meet Bulgari’s standards.
- Managing a team of Client Advisors, focusing on recruitment, coaching, and training to meet sales targets.
- Determining temporary staff needs to capture sales opportunities effectively.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with our retailers, serving as their day-to-day contact.
- Ensuring close follow-up on sell-out performance and collaborating with partners to define and achieve sales targets.
- Guaranteeing optimal representation of Bulgari Perfumes assortments in-store, in alignment with visual merchandising guidelines.
- Managing sampling initiatives and gifts-with-purchase actions to maximize commercial results.
- Negotiating for enhanced in-store visibility and local animations.
- Supporting all in-store executions, including CAPEX installations and visual merchandising.
- Managing the assigned budget and coordinating with staff agencies for payment follow-ups.
- Tracking store performance to identify growth opportunities and challenging Client Advisors to surpass their objectives.
- Gathering feedback from stores regarding performance and competitor activities for strategic decision-making.
- Continuously analyzing the effectiveness of in-store actions to contribute to sustainable development.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A CFC or equivalent education, with 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury or retail sector.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong networks and maintain a positive and motivating mindset.
- The capability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- A passion for the sales environment, acting as a leader and role model for Client Advisors.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, thriving in operational tasks on the field.
- A performance-driven mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and an appreciation for the high standards in the luxury sector.
- Expertise in business vision, execution, and negotiation skills.
- Dynamic and positive energy, coupled with strong communication abilities to foster trust throughout the organization.
- Fluency in Swiss German and English; knowledge of French and Italian is a strong asset.
