Perfume Retail Manager

Location: Switzerland – All Swiss German Region

To strengthen our national Sales Perfume team in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a Perfume Retail Manager. Reporting to the Switzerland Wholesale & Retail Manager Perfume, you will develop Bulgari Perfumes activities within Swiss markets in a sustainable way, managing all retail and operational aspects related to sales within the Swiss German perimeter.

Key Responsibilities

As the Retail Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Bulgari Perfume at the point of sales, driving the brand relaunch within your territory. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring operations meet Bulgari’s requirements to optimize sales and represent the brand effectively in-store.
  • Recruiting, coaching, and training a team of Client Advisors hired through agencies to achieve sales targets.
  • Determining temporary staffing needs to capture sales opportunities and enhance retailer outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, acting as their day-to-day contact for performance and operational matters.
  • Monitoring sell-out performance and collaborating with partners to define and achieve sales targets for each point of sale.
  • Guaranteeing optimal representation of Bulgari Perfumes assortments in-store, in line with visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Managing sampling initiatives and gifts-with-purchase actions, and negotiating for increased in-store visibility and local events.
  • Supporting in-store executions, managing the assigned budget, and ensuring timely follow-up on payments.
  • Tracking store performance, identifying growth opportunities, and gathering feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of in-store actions and ensuring that each initiative supports the sustainable development of Bulgari Perfumes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A CFC or equivalent education, with 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury or retail sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a talent for building strong networks, coupled with a positive and motivating mindset toward achieving sales targets.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • A passion for sales and the ability to act as a leader and role model for Client Advisors.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with a performance-driven mindset and a pragmatic problem-solving style.
  • Strong expertise in business vision and execution, along with confirmed negotiation skills.
  • A dynamic personality with a solution-oriented attitude and strong listening and communication skills.

Fluency in Swiss German and English is required; knowledge of French and Italian is considered a strong asset. Please note that the position is field-based in Switzerland and involves daily travel within the German-speaking region.
