Job Description
The Performance Marketing Manager plays a central role within Group Marketing. In this position, you will collaborate with all SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG business units and be part of a team of digital and performance marketing experts.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimize Search Engine Advertising efforts for various SMG brands.
- Work with other digital marketing channels (Social ads, programmatic, display) and step in for other channels as needed.
- Drive performance, monitor, analyze, and recommend optimization and growth opportunities with a strong testing mindset.
- Challenge the status quo and actively contribute to the optimization of processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with our brands to achieve their marketing goals and ensure the implementation of digital marketing best practices.
- Engage with different marketing professionals, focusing on ad product & creative innovation, audience and data strategy, and measurement and attribution opportunities.
Qualifications
- Native German speaker and fluent in English (our business language).
- Over 6 years of experience with various digital channels, with a strong focus on Paid Search; experience in other digital marketing channels is a plus.
- Proven track record in Google Ads.
- Experience with the Google Marketing platform (SA360, DV360, CM360).
- Solid hands-on experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Google Tag Manager.
- Proficiency in feed management tools, with strong Google Shopping experience.
- Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating a service mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and reliable attitude.
- Excellent project management abilities, highly organized, and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
